In the never-ending pursuit of pain relief, I was gifted Bio CBD+ Muscle & Joint Relief Oil to try on my numerous aches and pains from my psoriatic and rheumatoid arthritis. All opinions are my own. I must say, I was quite impressed by the Bio CBD+ Oil.
Ingredients
Bio CBD+ Oil is a full spectrum CBD product made with organic hemp. It contains 64 mg of Bio CBD per bottle as well as Hemp Oil, Eucalyptus, Burseraceae, Ginger, Curcumin, and White Willow Bark. In my experience, these ingredients combine very well together to bring out the benefits of each individual ingredient.
Smell
Normally, I tend to favor more “flowery” or sweet scents. At first, the scent of the Bio CBD+ oil seems a bit strong. It has a definite woodsy or earthy scent that I’ve actually grown to like quite a bit. As you rub the oil in, it smells quite soothing actually. Overall, I would say that it smells quite nice, especially if you compare it to a lot of the medical creams designed for muscle aches and pains which tend to have a very strong medicinal smell. This is definitely much better.
Usability/Experience
I was a bit worried initially that I would end up pouring the oil all over myself since oil tends to be fairly thin and run easily. However, the Bio CBD+ Oil has a unique top on the bottle that only allows it to come out in drops unless you really squeeze it. Which keeps you from literally pouring it all over yourself.
I started putting a few drops on my hands, in the places that hurt the worst. As I rubbed it in, I definitely felt a very soothing warming sensation as I rubbed. The oil has a very yellow-green color that actually can be seen on the skin when it is first applied. But once it is rubbed in, it doesn’t leave any traces of color behind. So, you may want to be sure not to get any stray drops on your clothing or towels. On to the big question…
Does Bio CBD+ Oil actually work?
After using the CBD oil consistently for about a week I can say that it definitely helps. I usually was able to feel relief within a few minutes of running it on. I would say the relief lasted several hours and in my experience, it worked better on the muscle and tendon pain associated with PsA better than the actual joint pain. Some of my worst areas, my finger joints and wrists experienced a mild level of pain relief while the muscles in my neck and back fared better with moderate pain relief. Overall, I would say that it is definitely better than what you would find at your local pharmacy from products made from menthol or camphor and easier on your body than trying to relieve the pain with acetaminophen or ibuprofen.
