Eggcellent Easter Activities

Eggcellent Easter Activities

With Easter just one short week away, it is time to get busy filling our homes with all things Spring. As promised, here are some eggcellent {and easy} ideas to tackle the Easter holiday in style. If you missed the post filled with basket ideas and recipes, check it out here. If you’d like a little humor, check out this post on Easter inspirations gone awry.

Here is my roundup of all the wonderful decor ideas and activities to keep you, and your kiddos, super busy during this last week of Lent.

  1. I LOVE this DIY Easter Cross Wreath by Cheerios & Lattes. It is super easy to do and requires very little prep or materials that you don’t already have in your backyard. The Little Miss, Big Man, and Tiny will love running around and gathering up all the loose sticks lying around the yard.

2. Kool-Aid Tie-Dye Easter Eggs— truly an eggcellent idea for little ones to really get those cool colors they love. The link also includes a great video tutorial. It is done by Kraft.KOOL-AID Tie-Dye Easter Eggs Image 4

3. Games for the kiddos: Egg Tac Toe, Egg Race, Bunny Hop Relay

4. Easter Centerpiece that I found over on Peterson Stories along with a great assortment of Easter and Spring inspiration.

5. Check out this adorableness from babylifestyles. You will be able to find the jars, flowers, and paper on the cheap at the Dollar Store. Totally super fun and fast Spring project. Plus, recycle the idea for each season and really get a lot of bang for your buck.

Well, that is my roundup of super awesome Easter ideas. But more than anything, I’d love to wish you a happy and blessed Easter season. All of the “projects” and “games” that I have included can, and should be done as a family as family time is the most important time. I hope your Easter is filled with Smiles this Sunday.
