Forever on the lookout for quality, well-written information about living with a chronic illness, I have been lucky enough to run across a few exceptional blogs that I would like to share with you today. These ladies are inspirational, informative, and yes, even a bit humorous at times. So, grab a cup of coffee, pull up a chair, and explore the awesomeness that these lovely ladies have to offer.
Amazing chronic illness blogs you must read
- The Disabled Diva– This is one of the first blogs I ran across. She tackles all things Disney and
is definetly a “go-to” for anything related to traveling or managing outings with a chronic illness. She has a wonderful sense of humor and just has one of those personalities that makes you want to smile.
- Sunshine and Spoons– On her blog, Hannah tackles raising children with
special needs while living with the chronic illness, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, herself. She has a great printable medical binder available for download and plenty of faith filled inspiration to go around. Hannah’s blog is filled with all things family- parenting, faith, and fun. She works hard to raise awareness for all types of chronic illness and offers tremendous support to the whole spoonie community.
- Over at Gastroparesis Queen Sarah works hard to raise awareness for the chronic illness Gastroparesis. She has a
feeding tube but doesn’t let that stop her. In addition to her blog, she also attends nursing school and has a fab You Tube channel. Her faith and inspiration is clear in her blog. She has wonderful bible studies and opportunities to reflect on living with a chronic illness.
- Chronically Strong with Shawntel (affectionately known as Shawn)
is an absolutely beautiful blog filled with information about Ulcerative Colitis, Chronic Bowel Disease, and mental health just to name a few. She has excellent healthy eating tips as well as a focus on overall wellness and nutrition, and recipes. Check her out!

Nice post and interesting blogs ?
I started blogging myself about chronic illness and it seems hard to get readers/comments, but it’s nice to get stuff out from the chest.
